I travel frequently for work and stay in a lot of hotels and Airbnbs. I bought this after hearing some horror stories. Used it on my last trip to Chicago and it gave me such peace of mind. It's super easy to use and fits right in my makeup bag. Highly recommend!
I suspected my ex was tracking my vehicle. I bought this primarily for the RF scanner. The sensitivity dial is great—turned it up, walked around my car, and found a magnetic tracker under the rear bumper. This device literally paid for itself instantly.
The infrared camera detector is foolproof, you just look through the lens and cameras shine back like a red dot. The RF signal scanner took me about 10 minutes to figure out (you need to turn off your phone and router first so it doesn't pick up those signals). Once I figured that out, it worked flawlessly.

The device itself is 5 stars. It does exactly what it claims to do and the battery is fantastic. I am giving it 4 stars just because the instruction manual text is quite small and hard to read for someone with bad eyesight. But operation is pretty intuitive anyway.
It's roughly the size of a thick pen. I can easily slip it into my purse and take it into public restrooms or gym locker rooms to do a quick scan without looking crazy or drawing attention to myself.
